It seems unfathomable that just the right amount of chutzpah arrived at my door when I was a young single mother of three wonderful children.
Leaving my Interior Design career, I set out to work from home by creating a notecard company. No computer in the beginning, but plenty of
diapers and playdays! What turned out to be a necessity has become my career, with surprises, twists, and turns! These two gals, now
all grown up, came to my rescue from across the street in our little village. In high school, they learned how to process orders, count
envelopes in sets of ten, and help me select which samples to send to HARPO STUDIO back in the day of Favorite Things. I owe them
everything. They showed up on time, eager to help, always tending to my eager small children who adored them, while shipping cards around
the country. The little engine sure could chug chug chug away and as the years built and their lives grew, I’ve just the most incredible gratitude
for these rascals standing by my somewhat nervous side as things took off, flying off to be the company that really could sustain me and my brood!
